Hey all, more of a cosmetic question than anything else, but I was wondering about something I recently noticed in my P22...
Once zeroed, my rear sight is slightly left of center. Curious about this, when I removed the top slide recently, I took a look and noticed the whole chamber/barrel assembly is slightly left of the center line of the pistol. In other words, if you look at it from the rear, the barrel and chamber are centered a few mm to the left of the center line of the grip/lower and slide. Still straight, but offset. Now, everything fits perfect and fires ok, but I was wondering if this is the standard build for it. If it were skewed to an angle or just the barrel was off, I'd think it was a defect, but this literally looks like it was meant to be. So, others? Experience? Are most of you zeroed slightly left with your rear sight? Thanks! |
