Shot a friend's P238, and it was a great except the 10.5 lb trigger pull.  Has anyone had the trigger pull lightened?  Who did it and how much did it cost?  When I get mine, I want to get the pull down to about 5.5 lbs.  Any info would be helpful.

Go to the SIG forum in the gunsmithing section and look up the P238 disassembly thread. In there, the author talks about using a Wolff reduced power mainspring (20 lb vs. 23 lb factory) to reduce the trigger pull on his 238.

Good luck, friend.  I asked the same question in a thread titled "I love my 238" or something like that.  Emailed a couple of gunsmiths recommended in the thread and one said the 238 was one of two Sigs that trigger work didn't produce satisfactory results.  Talked to Sig's Tech Section, they said they can't do trigger pull  reduction work and couldn't recommend any fixes or gunsmiths.  The Wolfe spring kit for the Mustang seems like the only opition, might give it a try.  If you find a different solution, please post.  I've got two 238s and both triggers are above 10 lbs pulls.

Can you post a link to said forum or thread? I can't seem to find a "SIG forum in the gunsmithing section." Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you for the link. I was looking for a SIG forum in the Gunsmithing section of AR15.com!
