What are the main differences in the Gen 2 (compared to Gen 1)?

The "Generation 2" of the SAS has a DA/SA SRT (Short Reset Trigger) trigger and night sights and plastic grips.

Is it only the SAS that has an SRT? Can the SRT be retrofitted to any 239?
