I am rethinking my position on not liking the 239 and need some first hand user feedback for some questions.

Question 1 - Read on another SIG forum that a SIG 9mm barrel can be dropped into a .40S&W P239 without issue even though SIG says not to. I guess this is something people have been doing and there have been no issues. I am not talking about after market conversion barrels but plain old 239 barrels being used. Can anybody confirm this here? Does it matter what production year the P239 is?

Question 2 - The Hogue G10 grips "round off" the front of the grip so it does not have the funny square feel. Does anybody have the Hogue G10 grips installed on their 239?

Thanks

Disclaimer- I am writing this half asleep so be excuse grammar and such issues.

Thanks but for some reason I can not see the picture. Which seems to happen in a lot of the threads lately. Anybody know why?

I don't know why for you, but when I'm at work behind the .mil firewalls, few of the picture hosting sites get through.

I try to remember to look when I get home.
