Howdy, new guy to these parts.
I recently bought my P250 Compact for $350 (used) OTD from a LGS. I actually like the fact there is no ext safety and like the trigger. This will be my CC weapon. It fits my hand like 2nd skin and I love it. |

There's some around that'll bash it, but I've never had a problem with mine. Full size tho, so it's not very concealable. Also, last time I looked, the caliber conversion kits are perpetually back ordered.
Another P250 thread |
| I myself just purchased a P250sc it came in 40 S&W but I swapped out the barrel and made it a 357 Sig. I tried a P250c last year when a friend purchased it, to say the least I was not impressed. Had some issues, like jamming and the like. I follow a lot of the forums and it seemed a lot of people started to like them, so I figured give it a try. Mine was made in June 2011 and was very different qualities wise form the P250 I had shot before. Then newer one felt better, worked great and for a small 3.5 inch barrel was very accurate. The trigger took a little getting used to, but once you figure out how to squeeze and hold its not very bad at all. Fired several boxes of ammo with no issues at all, point of aim seemed very natural and the grip for as small as it is seemed fine, I learned how to tuck my pinky under the magazine, and for as odd as it looks it tends to be comfortable. I recommend if you are going to get one try and get one of the newer ones. One note if you look at Sigs website, you will see the P250sc model has a magazine for 40 S&W only and one for 357 Sig only. When I called and asked about this the rep at Sig told me on the new guns the magazines were the same. I tested that and it ate thru a full box of 50 357 Sig rounds without any issue. |
