so i had the trijicon sights installed on my P30. i shot it and they seem to be hitting off but i didnt have alot of time at the range.

so i get home and was in my man cave thinking...what if i attached my grip pod to the rail on the P30 for stability when i zeroed it? does that make my pistol some sort of evil weapon like a super small SBR or something?

No, it would make it an AOW.

I had a feeling it made it something but wasn't sure. Thanks!

Get a laser boresighter, it wont be 100%, but it will

can't you use a straight bipod and not violate NFA provisions?

Like this

Bipods like that are not designed as grips or to be used as secondary grips, therefore, 100% legal.  Forward secondary grips are illegal, ergo, grip-pods are illegal.

If the Mk23 was the pistol in that pic, it would make all the sense in the world.

One option would be to attach a spare mag to the rail.  One of the cheapy companies like UTG or CAA used to make one for glocks, not sure if they made one for the P30 mag.  The mag can be held like a grip, but was not intended as a grip, so, like the bipod, it is legal.

Why you would want to hold a pistol in this manner is beyond me, though.

Hahaha, that's awesome.  It'd be worth taking just to see the looks you get.  If I saw that, I'd probably .
