I am buying the P320 XTEN COMP with the manual safety as a camping pistol. It will have a manual safety due to my affection for and familiarity with the 1911. Does anyone here already have one, and if so, what are your experiences with it?

I have one without a safety.  No magazine issues with anything I have ran through it.  Handles full power loads well.  I like it.

Son has one.  He's put close to 500 rounds of BB 220's through his making sure it is ready for bear country this fall.  Report is it is good to go.
