I sent this pistol off to have a trigger job done by a well known gunsmith.

When I got it back I dry fired it twice before "something" happened and now it will not fire when the trigger is pulled - when it does "break" the hammer will slowly fall as the trigger is released, just as if I'd pushed the decocking lever down.

The gunsmith has offered to fix it but I'd rather not spend $50 on overnight shipping if I don't have to.

Any suggestions on what to look for?

I detail stripped it last night. I know it was missing the hammer strut roll pin.

Here are some pics of all the parts I removed from the frame (which were bagged as soon as they came out of the frame) and closeups of the hammer and sear.

If anyone sees anything amiss please let me know. I did not remove the hammer stop or the mag release.
