I was wondering what everyone has replaced the sights with..  I colored the front sight white. but it's really tacky so I was thinking or replacing it with a decent one.  I'm not looking for anything that expensive..

Which style did you install?

Also what's the size of the front & back?  Thanks.

CDNN shows a Sig front nightsight in their latest catalog for $10.  If I wanted to replace my front P6 sight I'd get one of these.

Thanks, I'll take a look..

Does anyone know the size required?  I don't want to accidently order the wrong size for the front & back.

my rear is a 7 and my front an 8 that is based off my 9/81 P6. hope that helps.

Thanks.  Hmm.. that probably will explain why my gun is shooting high with my new sights.  I bought some XS Big Dot..  Still trying to decide if I like them or not.

what's odd is that meprolight's website says that I should have size 8/8 for front and rear but I looked and I have a 7 rear and an 8 front on mine now. I wonder why they (meprolight) say differently...

You thing that's weird?
I installed my XS Big Dots and I'm shooting way high.. like 3 inches high.  I took a look at my old sights they were #6 rear/#8 front.  Hopefully XS Sight has a solution for this.

Different numbers correspond to different heights, and thus can be used to sight in a SIG elevation-wise. Get the same numbered replacements to ensure the same POA/POI.

Was it like each # change it's 1 inch per 25 yrds or 50 yrds?  I remember reading that somewhere.
