| What are you thoughts on the Para SSP .Are the plagued with issues like othe paras? |
|
I had one for a short time, I noticed it had wear in the rail area early on (less than 200 rounds). I have a SS LDA and like it, but if your going to spend the money kick in a bit more and get a Colt. ETA: Mine ran perfectly with ball and HP accuracy was decent as well. |

I landed one SSP in a multi gun trade,Para was new and unfired.Took it to the range, had some issues with it.Back home i too it apart,i found the guide rod cracked at the rear of it and the disconnector was bent. The disconnector had too much metal machine off,was too thin. The slide stop and the ejector were "mushroomed" at the tips.I ended replacing all the small parts with Wilson Combat parts, cost me too much to make that gun work.I traded it away and wont ever even consider owning another one after my experience with one.I'll stick to my heard of Colts.
Id recommend a Springfield 1911 if you cant afford a Colt. |
