I saw two of the new PF-9's at the Market Hall gun show today. It's about the same size as the P-11 but about half as thick. Both dealers tod me these guns were of the first batch of 200 released for sale so take that for what it's worth. Asking price for both was $330 and the web site states it selling for $314.

It's good looking piece and feels good in the hand but feels like it weighs much less than a P-11. I wonder what recoil will be like.

Having owned an early model P-11 I think I'll wait a year or so before thinking about buying this new 9mm. I want one but I'll wait till they get all the bugs worked out before I go through that again.

Shooters Vault in Phoenix had 1 or 2 listed for $270.  Nice to know some folks don't try to gouge right off the bat.

Supposedly the trigger group is a modified P-3AT, not a P-11 trigger group, so the trigger should be better than the P-11.

Oh, and I had heard it was a run of 2000 not 200.  Truth, who knows?

I am looking forward to seeing one of these.  It might replace my P32.

One of my neighbors is a machinist at KT... she says to wait a few months before buying one, anytime a new model is released.

The PF-9 trigger is the same as the P3AT, in that it is much more linear than the P11 trigger.  Unfortunately, my PF9 died after 4 shots.  I'm waiting on a replacement spring from KelTec, and will see how it does on it's second trip to the range.
