Are they all the same for the 9mm ? Can I just get some P85 mags or do I need a special one?

Any 9mm P series should be just fine. I haven't had any probs, I got a P93. Stick with factory if possible or Mec-Gar

there is some difference between p85 mags and those for all of the later p series pistols. i don't know exactly what it is but it does matter. any mags for the p89, 93, 94, 95 will work.
