To those of you that own them...I really want one in a bad way, but I have been reading a few gun oriented discussion boards and have seen alot of posts about malfunctions. Whats the skinny? Are these weapons unreliable? Is this strictly a range toy, or would you rely upon it for self-defense? Thanks. |

Hundreds of rounds through mine without a problem. I have used the little factory mag, old aluminum follower colt mags, and new green follower 30 rounders. Another guy at the range I go to has a few thousand through his with no malfunctions of any kind. Mine is accurate enough to shoot groundhogs out to 100yds or so, but I have other stuff that is much more suitable for home defense. |
