| Bought a PPS 9mm today, took it straight to the range and put 300 or so rounds thru it. Great gun, accurate as hell for such a small gun, and only one hiccup: a FTF on about round 20 (the first hollow point I put in it, no issues with any subsequent HPs), The only thing I didn't like about the gun was that the spent shells were repeatedly landing on and around me. WTF? Any one else notice this or is it something unique to my gun or shooting technique? |
| Yeah, it only seems to happen with winchester white box and umc. The hotter stuff and my +p carry ammo eject totally clear. No biggie, its not gonna stop me using that ammo for practice, its too good of a deal. Plus, its been doing it less and less lately; however, today my little brother had a casing land directly on top of his head. It was actually a little comical. Anyhow its a great gun and I'm still really enjoying it. The more I shoot it the happier I am that I bought it. |

i know this very well, i got a .45 that can be touchy like that. i once fed it some older than dirt crappy cheap loads once, it would either fling them above my head missing me by about an inch or sometimes just smack me right in the forehead. but when i fired some decent loads out of it, would eject them out a totally different direction away from me. |
