Anyone have access to Walther PP serial numbers relative to date of manufacture?

You can find out the date of manufactur of your Walther by looking at the date codes rather than the serial #.  See this link for info on when yours was made:

Ooops - sorry!  I did find a number of links on the PP, but none had date codes included.  I found one site that said it was virtually impossible to find the date of manufacturer from the date code on a PP, so I wish you best of luck.

Yeah thanks for the link, it was interesting and I checked my P99 dates and serial #s - too bad it didn't help the PP owner..
