I recently acquired a P-07 in .40 S&W and I've put about 500 flawless rounds through it. I absolutely love shooting it until it comes time to pick up the brass. This thing flings casings into low earth orbit. I took a tape measure to the range today so I could make an accurate measurement and, after thirty rounds of Winchester 165g white box fired, the cases all ejected between a minimum of 22 and maximum of 27 feet! Is that normal for this pistol? Are stronger recoil springs available and should I invest in one?

Yes, you can get an extra power recoil spring for it.  Try Wolff gun springs site.  I would go 2 to 4 lbs heavier than what you have now.

My 75 and SP-01 both ejected with some authority.  I took one to the forehead while shooting with the lady and had an impact mark afterwards.  Idk exactly how far it ejects but it does pitch it away a good way.
