I will have a new P-07 Duty, period, end of discussion. BUT, I won't settle for just any one. One LGS had a 2009 manufactured used one, very little used at that, like new, for $379. But, they sell new ones (when in stock) for $429. I will wait for a new one over the 2009 model. Went in another LGS today and damn if they didn't have a P-07, a P-09,. and a SP-01 Tactical all sitting there waiting for some lucky soul.
Their P-07 was a 2012 build and didn't have the interchangeable back straps and whatever else they changed. It was priced at $479. I will wait. I want the "latest" with the adjusting back straps. Besides, they wanted $50 more for the new one over the other shop. I will just keep shooting my trusty P-01 and my 75B for now. I am patient. OH, found a P-076 at Cabella's, but they wanted $549....TOO MUCH! (by $100). I do lust for a P-07 but the price and exact model I want has to be right. Am I being too picky between a 2012 and a 2014 when the newer style with all the updates is $40 less? |

I have two major dealers close by, Bud's in Lexington and KYGunCo in Bardstown. Both have them for around the $430 price when in-stock. I can wait for the one I want. They will get them in again, no problem there. Also, Knob Creek Range (home of the machine gun shoot) has a good supply of CZ's and isn't much more. Patience is the name of the game.
Several of the local places have the one with the longer barrel in-stock but I don't want that model. It comes with safety only...I want a decocker..and it cost a bit more and it doesn't have the replaceable back strap. |
