I've looked, asked on the Sig Talk Forum, and can't get an answer.....
CAN YOU SWAP Barrels on this weapon? What I mean is, Can you put a .40 Cal (or .357 Sig) Barrel in a 9mm slide? Let's for giggles say Full Size Slide, Full Size Barrel? OR, do you have to go the "OTHER WAY", and start with a .40 Cal/.357 Sig Barrel and slide, and put a 9mm Barrel in that? And, of course you have to use the "PROPER" Magazines with the Barrel that you've selected (Again, .40 Cal and .357 Sig are the same). And, from the "RESEARCH" that I've done on the internet (if it's on the internet, it must be true  ), it would seem that you can put the LARGER SIZED SLIDE on the next smaller frame with little to no issues: Like a Full size slide on the Compact Frame, and a Compact Slide on the Sub-Compact Frame.
AND, I know that the .45 is an "ANIMAL" all to itself, and you can't interchange frames with the 9mm/.40 Cal/.357 Sig stuff...... |
