Anyone ever tried painting the frame on a Glock?  I'm working on a deal to pick up a pretty rough looking pistol, and was thinking about painting the frame to try to cover up some of the blemishes.  Obviously you couldn't paint over the serial number and you'd want to be sure not to get any paint in the internals.

As far as I know, everyone who does the grip reduction mods to Glock pistols uses some sort of paint or coating to redo the frame after the modifications. Exactly what is used, however, I cannot say...most likely Brownells carries it, whatever it is.

you could try using Norrells. I am pretty sure it will bond to the frame but not sure. alot of people use it on ar15s. sorry i don't have a link, just do a search

hope this helps!
