Para +1 Base Pad on a Mec-gar Magazine

Does anyone know if an older Para-ordnance +1 base pad will fit a newer Mec-gar P14 magazine?

I'de like to know as well. I have a few Mec-Gar P18 mags. Are there any extensions available?

They will fit the magazines but may not fit in the gun once installed.

I tried the factory Para base pad extensions on my Mec Gar P/18 mags. As they come it's a no-go. The problem is the ridges in the sides of the mag bodies. On Mec Gar mags, they come down farther than on the Para mags. This prevents the insert from being pushed in far enough. I tried to mod an insert and it didn't work. But, I'm not giving up.

Does the Mec Gar P14 mag have the ridges?
