Some good for nothing SOB put his 1911 build in GD and I now have the fever.

I do a little gun wrenching, so this is not out of my comfort zone, and I had been looking into it for a while now.

Where do I buy the pins and springs as a set?  I have been looking at Brownells and Midway, but it seems that they want to sell each pin separately for $1 each.  Seems high for a pin.

Is there a source for a "set"?

Funny.  I have been watching the same thread and came here to ask the same question.  What frame are you going to use?

Go to Midway.  Get the Wilson Combat springs kit (you can usually find it under any 1911 part with "spring" in the title) and the WC pins kit (again, under most any part with "pin" in the title).  They are my very favorite parts.
