I found my spare parts for my old Glock 22 I sold, and now have a Glock 17.
What parts will/will not interchange? I'm pretty sure the recoil spring assy won't. Thanks. |

The recoil spring assembly is the same between the non-Gen4 17s and 22s.
That I can think of, the parts that do not interchange are (not counting frame and slide): locking block trigger mechanism housing w/ ejector barrel extractor There may be others, but most of your G22 parts are interchangeable with your 17. |

I'm pretty sure the recoil spring assy won't. the recoil spring will work, they both use the same weight. i don't know what other "spare" parts you have but a lot of parts are interchangeable between the G17 and G22 aside from the obvious like barrel, extractor, etc. i know there's a chart out there that will show you exactly what parts you can keep and use for you G17. if i find it, i'll post it. |
| Pins, slide stop lever, slide lock, slide lock spring, recoil assy, trigger assembly, connector, mag release and mag release spring will, locking block won't. Trigger mechanism housing will but the ejector is different and is not available separately so better off buying a new one. |

As long as their the same Gen, EVERY one of those parts will interchange, except the Ejector, which is pressed into the Trigger Housing. 9mm and .40 Ejector differ.......... Other than that, they're all useful. |
| Considering the number of locking blocks they have made and the revisions over the years to them I would rather call Glock and gget the specific locking block for the pistol in question unless they look EXACTLY the same. IIRC over 24 locking blocks have been made depending on model / year / gen. |
