On that one, dark.

Dark. The light colored grips might look good on a SS pistol.

The light is a little too light and the dark is a little too dark for me. On anything that is or looks like matte parked I like something about this shade. Of the two you show, I like the light set.

I prefer a little darker but they are all flat on the back side, at least the wooden ones are.

Thanks for the suggestions.

the Darks are an older set and are slightly warped. I haven't steamed em yet to see if i can straighten em out. The lights I just received from Fusion Firearms. I really like em however they don't have the Ambi Cut like they're supposed to so i'm going to have to send em back for an exchange.

I'll prolly ask to get a pair thats similar in color to what JohnRippert posted. They're closer in color to the factory crossed cannon grips anyways and i like that color too. I think i'll ask about getting a pair that are squared at the bottom to better mate up to the magwell while i'm at it.

I'd say dark, but personally would want something a little lighter than that. A nice red-brown color.

The light is too light, the dark is too dark.

I voted light because it will darken up.

I agree, the light is too light, and the dark seems to be too dark. Mine are in between:

I have a Stainless TRP that came with black grips... they looked great... then I put my silver alumagrips on it... it looked more awesome... now I have faux pearl grips on it... I like the light on light, and dark on dark (my black grips that came with the stainless TRP are now on my TRP black Armory Kote Operator... the sandstone grips sucked IMO)

So in other words... I prefer the dark on the dark pistol.

The dark ones look far better. I always opt for grips that are regular size that cover and help protect that delicate plugger tube. It's kinda like wearing protection for your testicles while playing football, one good hit to the plunger tube or the testicles and you're done.
