I picked up a used USP recently. At some point in it's past, the slide was cerakoted. Was cleaning up after a short range session today and noticed something odd. Is that cerakoted slide gunk? The rest of the slide is perfect. I'm away from home at the moment, so I can't compare it to my other USP. This is inside of slide, forward of ejection port, extractor side.
By comparison, here's the opposite side

Nope, bought it this way. Fits perfectly in a Bladetech USP Expert holster that I bought for my USP 45T and when I took it out to the range for a playday, I discovered that the slide will follow on a slide lock reload. Every. Single. Time. Hooray on cutting a step from my reload sequence!! A buddy told me that means the recoil spring needs replacing. I think he's just jealous.
