Does anyone have one of these? How do they compare to Makarovs and CZ-82s and the other 9x18 pistols?

I am thinking about getting one but don't know if I should look at other 9x18 pistols instead. I would like to hear from owners, pics would also be nice.

The CZ is a better firearm. At least in my opinion.

The trigger is smoother and it is typical CZ craftsmanship.

Both are fine guns.

The CZ just has more of the rough edges removed.

You'll enjoy either one. Or hell... get both!

That is a bold and innovative idea. I think I would like to try that.

You're welcome. It's a calling in my life.

To spend other peoples money on firearms.

I am here to help.

ETA: Honestly, both guns are not that costly. You could easily budget for both.

I heard that the CZ is very accurate from a friend. Is the P-83 its equal? What about sharp edges? Its trigger guard looks like it could be uncomfortable like an AK trigger guard.

I have yet to fire a CZ that wasn't very accurate.

There aren't any real sharp edges on the CZ that I have seen in shops or personally handled. YMMV.

What about the P-83?

A little bit sharp, but nothing really to worry about. It's more blocky than sharp.

Might be uncomfortable if you are out for a long day of shooting. But 2 or 3 boxes worth shouldn't be anything to cause concern.
