My FIL is looking to get rid of his G19 this week as he is not into it anymore and wants something a little smaller.
I have an XDm 40 I received in a trade a few months back and I was thinking of trading him. I got the 40 since I wanted to get multiple calibers covered in case times got really bad I wouldn't be stuck with only 9mm. I have 9mm covered right now with a Kahr P9 and my CZ75. I have never really been a Glock fan but it seems as if it would be a good gun to have for long term. Any thoughts? |

The 19 feels a bit small in my ham size hands but my friends like theirs.
I have autos in 380 9mm, 40s&w and 45acp. I'd like to get down to 2 calibers with the resulting cash from the sales going to increase ammo supply. I'm leaning toward 9mm and 40s&w as they seem to be readily available. |

I would only trade if the G19 was a Gen4. The grip angle is better for me when shooting.
BTW get a G23 Gen 4 and get a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel. That way you have the 9mm and a 40 in the same gun. I did that and added a 357 Sig barrel and Advantage Arms 22 Conversion kit. |
