I read an article that was advocating using a laser like a Blast or a Lasermax to assit in learning good and consistent shooting habits. The article argued that while you should continue using the iron sights, and should depend on the iron sights as a primary sighting system, that using a rail mounted laser will greatly enhance one's ability to find anticpated recoil, flinching before the shot, milking the grip as you pull the trigger, etc.

Does anyone agree or disagree with this?

I agree with this.  A laser will show just how unsteady you are. and if their is movement in the laser you will see it immediatly. Very good way to correct issues. Just don't get dependent on them.
