| About to get my permit soon here in NYS and i was wondering how to tell the diff between preban glock mags and regular ones. im goign to get a g19 as soon as possible and dont want to be limited to 10 round mags |

I do not have them but there have been good tutorials showing pics of various glock high caps so you can tell the difference.
If you want to be sure, you could always get the NFML (so-called nondrop free) mags- the area in the spine of the mag where the top round sits is a semi circle. these are all pre ban. the remainder of mags have a square cut there. The NFML/non drop free is no big deal. the only problem with these is if you try to eject a partially loaded mag it won't come out by itself-has to be dragged/pulled out. Sometimes worn FML/drop frees do the same thing |
