Have a co worker of my wife getting ready to move overseas.  He has a USP tactical with three barrels (different calibers) and two slides plus a suppressor.  Don't know any more than that.  He's deciding if he wants to sell it this weekend.  I know nothing about HK's.  what's it worth and what questions should I be asking.

There is not much to check on an H&K USP other than normal wear on slides and rails. They are solid shooters. The extra barrels and slides definately add some value to a standard Tactical model as they go for about $800.00-850.00 for just the pistol in my neck of the woods. Not sure about the extra's. The suppressor would have to be legally obtained after filling out the proper paperwork,of course, but the price depends on which one it is. Someone should be around  shortly to add to my 2 cents.

Which caliber? Post Newtown, I have yet to see a 45 USP Tactical even listed for under $1150. 9/40's I see under $1k frequently and are built on the same frame. .45s are built on a separate larger frame.

Finally got the straight poop from the owner.  It was a USP in 9mm.  I bought it.  Also bought a Glock 22 with a Gemtech Blackside suppressor from the same guy.  Had 3 mags with the USP, 10 mags for the Glock, 10 boxes of Ranger .40 for the glock, and a nice leather holster.  Am thanking the gun gods for the deal, and filling out the paperwork for the suppressor.  I really like how the HK feels, and it looks like a really well made firearm.  Can't wait to shoot it.
