Hey Everyone,
My father is looking for very low recoil in an easy to operate semi-auto. He had a Springfield 9130 1911 9mm, that worked well for recoil and was really easy to rack the slide, but the gun was more of a competition gun than defensive gun. Recently he has been looking at the Kimber Pro Carry II 9mm as a replacement. However he headed to the gun shop today and tried the Kimber 45s and found them extrememly hard to rack the slide on... No one anywhere around us has a Kimber 9mm so he can't try it. So for those that have/have had a 9mm Kimber, more specifically the Pro Carry 9mm, how hard is the slide to rack compared to other guns? I am looking for a VERY easy slide to rack. Thanks |
