Who got the hicap, and what do you think, are extra hi caps easy to get? |

If it uses the same mags as my BP Ten II, then Kimber sells them out of their custom shop. The original high cap mags were made specifically for Kimber, but the new ones are Mec-Gar's made for ParaOrd 14-45's and modified in Kimber's custom shop, as I understand. The procedure is fairly simple and could probably be done at home if one wanted to get the mags and make the changes themseleves, and if you Google It, you'll get more than few hits. Check out www.1911forum.com. My biggest worry would still be with the "tightness" of the slightly oversized P14 mags in my Kimber's magwell. - Nw - |
