Ok I did the .25 trigger job, replaced the striker spring with a wolff 4lb reduced striker spring and replaced the 5 lb connector with the Scherer 3.5 connector.  I polished everything really well and it looked fandamntastic.
My problem is now that I finally went to the range the friggin thing either misfires and double taps each time the trigger is squeezed.
The trigger resets as soon as the slide goes into battery, without having to let go of the trigger.
Tell me where I went wrong so that I can fix my pistol and get back to shooting.hinking.gif

I don't recommend the Wolff lighter striker springs even in competition guns.  Replace your connector back to stock which should have a been a 3.5lb anyway in a 34/35.  It sounds like you polished a little too much and there's not enough engagment between the trigger bar and striker.  You'll likely need a new trigger bar and or striker.

I dunno, a two round burst feature would be kinda cool

Probably bent the Scherer connector when you installed it. I’ve seen that before. If your factory connector has the “-“ on it put it back in as stated, and as "gotm4" said you may need to replace the trigger w/trigger bar.

when will people learn to stop messing with perfection.

What the other guys said, go back to your stock parts.  The $0.25 trigger job requires only metal polish and a buffer, not a grinder wheel incase that was also the problem.

Replace your striker spring with stock and replace your trigger bar

Put the pistol back to stock configuration.  I have about 10,000 rounds thru my Glock 35 and it works perfect every time.  The only thing non factory is Trijicon night sights.  Gaston Glock designed a perfectly good set of pistols that work fine when they aren't messed with.

The 35 should have come with the factory 3.5 lb connector. There is no need for Scherer part. They are substandard and prone to failure.

There is no reason for reduced power striker springs in a Glock. Use what was installed or suffer the consequences. Failure to go bang is one of them.

If it is firing more then one round at a time, or the trigger is resetting without forward movement, then you screwed something up. Take it apart, and replace all the factory parts and try again. If the gun works, then leave it alone. If not, then you need to have it looked at by someone who knows Glocks, like a real armorer.

Ok the stock connector is a 5 lb connector.  I know the difference between the two and that's why I ordered the Scherer 3.5
Having since replaced the stock striker spring, the trigger now has a normal reset.  I also replaced the 22lb recoil spring with the stock spring, but kept the stainless steel guide rod as the polymer guide rod was showing an unusual amount of wear from just over two hundred rounds fired.
I am a real Glock armorer so I know how to take the weapon down to it's smallest parts, so don't flame me for asking for help from people I thought had more experience with modifying a stock weapon.

Scherer connectors are very good, I have yet to see one fail.  To me they feel a little more crisp than a stock Glock 3.5lb connector.  Ghost Rocket connectors are almost as nice but still sort of mushy.  The only ones I've seen fail are the Alchemy Arms connectors which are absolute garbage.  I use a stock weight Wolff stiker spring in my Glocks.  They're the same weight but feel smoother.  I think it's because their surface is smoother than the stock one.

Wolff makes a reduced power firing pin safety spring and an extra power trigger spring which will enhance the trigger pull on a 'game' Glock.

Now why are you messin with Gaston's shit!!!!   Gaston don't like that shit going on!!!   I know I met him!!!!      He said to me that every time someone goes and modifies his work....it's like them saying I know better then Gaston....Gaston is a marginal designer/engineer

Let me sum this up.   If you want your shit to work better, then become a better operator of said stock equipment!!!

Sorry I just got done taking an armorors resert class and all of the above was pounded into my head and I am trying to get it out.

Not working.........         At least don't put any of those POS titanium parts in there!!

True. He wouldn't have so many updates if he wasn't even second guessing and fixing he own designs.  There's what now 4-5 different followers for 9mm?  Don't get me wrong I'm a huge Glock fan.  Gaston sounds a little egostitical.

Glock was trying to keep up with all the renegade non nato-saami spec ultra lite, ultra heavy oddly shaped killin projectiles that us USAers kept on coming up with.

And yes he is a bit egotistical, bwtf he has sold a pistol or two!!

That might go to to ones head.................

btw I want a g27 single stack w/ 1/5 of the slide width removed!!              thank-you

Same width slide w/a 23 length single stack       thank you as well

Yeah I think a single stack small frame Glock (9mm, .40, .357) would be perfect for those people with very small hands (like my wife) who have trouble even with a G19 & G26.
