Hey all, I bought my M&P last April and almost immediately after taking it out I found that I would get failures to fire (light primer hits), and subsequent failures to load (jams after racking the slide) . The gun has repeatedly been lubed, cleaned, and fired with a variety of ammunition (Remington UMC, WInchester) so I am pretty sure this is not an ammunition specific problem. Multiple people have fired this weapon and experienced the same problem so that seems to rule out problems due to the shooter. I have read a few other threads about problems with extraction with M&P's but have yet to see anything looking like my problem through search. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this something I can fix at home or do you all recommend I send it back to S&W? Thanks for the help. |
