Bought it yesterday and shot it today. I did a little of the fluff and buff but didn't get too carried away because I wanted to shoot it first.

Problem #1 A few times (at least three) this had happened. The action cycles just fine and chambers another round but the trigger will not operate the hammer. The hammer essentialy is sitting against the firing pin. Too give you an idea, if you were to dry fire it the hammer would fall and remain in place due to the lack of bang. This is the possition the hammer was in when the problem would happen. Manually cycle the slide and it is ready to go again.

I plan on calling Kel-Tec but thought I would throw it out there.

Problem #2 On at least one ocassion the slide would eject the discharged round and the next round being chambered would jump up past the chamber being pinched between the barrel and the slide with the pointy end up.

I experimented with limp wristing it and that did not seem to make any problem happen. I did use a firm shooting grip otherwise.

Problem #1 sounds like the trigger has failed to reset.  You need to let the trigger move back to it's full forward position after pulling it.  If it is a consistent issue for you, Kel-Tec has come out with a new hammer bar that solves the problem--contact them.

Problem #2 may simply be that the pistol has not broken in yet.  Finish the fluff & buff, LIGHTLY grease the rails, and put a few hundred rounds through the pistol.  If it is still FTF, then contact Kel-Tec and let them know.

I think I am going to need that new hammer bar then, I would think if it has been a problem they would just start using that on their guns. There is no way to know when it will happen or anything to do to solve it while useing the gun.

Normal operation is:
pull trigger
weapon fires
slide resets trigger durring recoil
slide chambers another round
release trigger
pull trigger
(heres where nothing happens/ problem #1)

I was messing with it and watching how the action works and I think I can see why/how it is happening. I just don't want to have to ship it back, that could get very expensive real quick.

Other than that problem I love this little bad boy, fits in a pocket. Recoil is not as bad as I expected either. Accurat at 8-9 yards. The only disapointment I have is it is not relieable enough for carry right now.  I have no doubts it is a winner once everything is ironed out though.

Regarding #1, are you allowing the trigger to go fully forward?  The KT isn't like a Glock, where you can just let the trigger go to the reset point and it's ready to fire again.  The PF-9 has what feels like a reset point, but it isn't.  You have to let the trigger go to the fully forward position.  If you don't, the trigger will not pull the hammer back on the next shot.

Yup, every time, over and over, even tried taking my finger off the trigger all together. All the way, look at it a little and then pull the trigger a few more times. You can see the difference in where the hammer is sitting as well. After a normal cycle the hammer sits in one place ready to fire again but when problem #1 happens it is farther forward where it is resting on the firing pin. It is in exactly the same place it would be if you were to dry fire it. The only way for the hammer to be reset is by moveing the slide fully to the rear.

I spent over an hour at the range trying to get 50-70 rounds through it. I spent a lot of time trying ti figure out if it is something I did.
