The bolt is sticking to the rear when cocked back. It will slide forward if tapped, as if something internally is not engaged compleletly. I've dissassembled the gun and cleaned it, checked it for malfunctioning parts and have come up with nothing.

Any input?

Thanks...

I had a problem like that when mine was new.....it started doing that when I was breaking it in. I took mine apart, wiped the internals down and lighly,  very lightly oiled them.....It has not done it since.....

Also look for any burs on the bolt...I had a small one and I dunno if that was the cause, but I did polish it off....BTW is yours new?

Hope that helps...Dan

That's a common symptom of improper re-assembly.  I still have to take 2-3 tries to get mine right sometimes.

If assembly is not the issue, perhaps you may wish to look further inside. I had a similar problem with a Gov. Target model. After doing a thorough tear down, it turned out to be a worn (nearly through) hammer strut pin. Once replaced, it was working flawlessly. I should mentioned this pistol had 30k+ through it at the time of the failure.
