I've been eye balling one for probably over a year now, but i didn't want to settle for one with a lock and I didn't want to pay extra for someones old used prelock.

Well, it looks like the no lock models are back in vogue and I picked up a model #103810, SW 642, for about $365 shipped/insured from Buds.

I have a glock 26 i carry normally, but i wanted this for those days when it's 95 degrees and i'm wearing is a shirt, shorts, and sandals.

From those that have one... are these shootable with their factory sights?  Is a crimson trace grip worth looking into for a snubbie?

This question comes up every once in a while. I don't currently have laser sights on mine but I keep considering it when I see these threads. Some really like having it on there.

As far as shootable, yes its still good with factory sights alone, at least at close distances. I haven't really tried to be a sharpshooter with it, I just practice as if the target is a short distance away. I think you got it for a good price by the way.
