I have two Glocks, well, actually I have four but this question is about two of them.

One is a 3rd Gen G17 and the other is a 3rd Gen G22.  The G22 has trijicon night sights and the 17 has the standard plastic factory sights.  Is it possible to swap the sights?  Or are they the sort of item that is a one time use/destroyed if removed sort of deal?

You can re-use the trijicons for sure. The factory sights can be reused as long as the front sight is still stakable as they are staked on.
