I want to purchase a model 21, .45 caliber but i would like to buy the glock with the green frame instead of the black frame. Is that possible or was it something special glock did for a short time?

its very possible--you might just have to look around a tad more

check you local shops, they might have one in stock (one here does)

online sources: gun broker, etc

h/w, i heard that glock recently discontinued manufacturing the OD ones as demand for em was low

I know that they did it in the past. I am not sure if they are still selling them. Best bet would be to call your dealer, and ask him. Your probably going to have to special order it anyhow, because I rarely see any glocks, etc in anything but black.

Not a .45 but it's OD Green none the less. The color doesn't show well in pictures, it looks a lot better in person.

And this was bought brand new 3 weeks ago. It was the only OD one they had though.
