| I have found a S&W and a Taurus both the same price in 500 Magnum. The S&W has the 8 3/8 barrel and the Taurus has the 6 1/2. What would be the better gun? I've never owned a Taurus or a S&W. I would guess that the S&W would build more value over time because of the name. But does either one of them really out do the other in quality? Any input? |

if they are the same price then with no question, get the S&W.hell, even if the S&W is $100-$200 more, then still the S&W without a doubt. also, these seem to be both longer barrels from your post(taurus with the 6 1/2" and the S&W with the 8 3/8"), so the 8 3/8" would be better in my opinion. but a S&W compared to a taurus for the same price, no contest. S&W i'm sure that others will be along to chime in camaro |
