My local dealer got in a few Sig 220's West German guns. Stainless Slides with an alloy frame , I think? It looks stainless too. They are PD trade-ins and in 95% shape. The barrel. slide and frame numbers match.,$570 a good price?
They look new with two mags. They look all stainless but I "think" the frames are alloy? Production seems to be in the 80's. Serial # in the 185 range. |
| I have one of the sigs that 394 is talking about and after letting some friends look at it they are saying that it is nickle. If they are nickle what would they be worth? Like 394 said they are 95% condition with nite sites and it shoots like a dream. I will try to post a pic. soon. |

I have nothing against the newer made SiGs but there seems to be some cache' to the older German and even moreso the West German marked SiGs...I think that price is fair...the in the '80's the SiG P220 was often thought of as one of the nicest DA/SA .45ACP pistols made...the field is a bit more crowded today but that statement still holds pretty well...
