Would be smarter (saving me money) to purchase a USP Tactical (.45) or to simply purchase a standard USP (also in .45) and buy the threaded barrel later?

I've recently decided I need one and want to ask around before hunting for it.

The USP Tactical is the way to go.

I see gently used Tactical models at my local gunshop from time to time. After I bought one from him, I sold off my USP as the Tactical shot so much better for me. Trigger felt better too, IMO.
