I picked up a super clean 2nd generation, 2 pin, Glock 19 not long ago. While cleaning it, I discovered it had an old RSA that was two piece. The spring was removable from the guide rod. In my parts bin, I had a RSA from a 3rd generation Glock 23. I put it in the G19, and it appears to function properly. Does anyone know of any problems this could cause, or if they are fully compatible.

You're fine using it.

If you asked Glock corporate for an RSA upgrade, they would send you the standard one-piece anyway.  You're good, and better off.
