Not available as blue label and not being produced anymore. Some of the RTF2's command high prices. I *think* that they are still available for large agency purchases, for nearly all intents and purposes they might as well be discontinued. I may be wrong. |

Some were blue label guns; I meant currently available. Glock geared the RTF2 toward law enforcement sales and marketed it as such. Agency's who purchased the RTF2 had problems with the abrasive grip rubbing holes in uniform shirts. The Gen4 grip was a fix for the rtf2 and a lot of LE guns were turned in and hit the market. Before glock announced the end of RTF2 production the RTF2 guns were cheap and could be found at prices below regular glocks. Once word got out that production was ceased demand shot up and so did prices. On glocktalk there is a thread where a member paid $1875 for a Glock 23RTF2C |

When they first came out everyone hated the fish gills:
What was glock thinking? Why are they backwards? They make the slide ugly? Now they are in such demand you would think they might peel back for a free glock coupon. The RTF2 is also my favorite, sad to see them stop production. |

Some were blue label (LEO) and some were red (Civilian). I have Gilled 19's with both labels. Blue says 3 mags, red says 2.
Supposively Glock will still make Rtf2 firearms for a larger order to an LEO agency blue label program still to this day however these firearms will only come with straight serrations on the slide. Gilled are and will not be made anytime soon if ever. |
| I've got a G22 and G19 RTF, both with gills. I stopped at a local store, and they had a NIB old stock G23 RTF with gills about a month ago. I thought about it and decided to go back and buy it a week later. It was long gone! Sales person told me they had it on lay away for a long time, and the buyer never paid. They put it out in the display case and it was sold the next day. |

Any idea of what a 19 RTF2 with gills would be worth? Not that I would ever sell mine.. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile 17RTF2 w/Gills $600 19RTF2 w/Gills $650 19RTF2 Straight $500 I would not pay the above but I think those are fair prices. Hmm. Worth more than I thought I guess. Which that is about what I paid for mine during the height of last years panic..but only because it was a Grail gun for me. |
| The 22rtf's and 23rtf's don't seem to command the same high prices. I was able to get a good condition 22rtf on gunbroker for $450. An exception to that are the 22RTF2C and 23RTF2C models. They are rare and as listed above one went on gunbroker for $1875 (23rtf2C). |

OP are you looking for the whole gun or just the slide? I see slides come up here on the EE and on other boards more specific to Glocks. GB might also be your friend, there are plenty on there.
There's an RTF2 22 w/gills for 489 buy it now price so I would say they can be had for under $500 if you look. 22's are going to be more common I would think since they were LE guns. I knew plenty of cops who bought them and hated the grip (too aggressive, it would tear up your uniforms) and the gills so they sold them. It's funny how they have come back in popularity now, but not in the LE world. |

I have a 17 and 19 RTF2 with gills. Picked them up when nobody wanted them. Now it seems everybody is looking for them. Yeah I bought one blue label and one red label 17rtf2 back in 2010. My dad has a 19rtf2 that I have been trying to get, but he won't give it up. Now they are rare. I will wait more to see how high the prices will go. |

I will honestly say that the 19 is worth more to some people. I have yet to see one bid on gunbroker in a year. Could go for much more than $650. You find me a few for $650 I'll buy then all. IM me if anyone has one at this price for sale. One without gills just sold in the EE for $650. I think your assumption is wrong at $500. Buy em while you can. |

Yes it is. On the right side of the slide it has NiBX and the original barrel is also coated. I picked up the factory threaded barrel for $200 on Friday also. Godspeed on your search, fellow NFA junky. |
