Just got my wife one what mags would you get?

I haven't tried too many kinds in my RO Champion. I have 9 round Checkmates and 9 and 10 round Metalforms, along with the stock mags which IIRC are also Metalform. I only have about 1400 rounds through the gun though so I don't have a high count through any individual mag. That being said, they've all worked fine so far.

Was going to try Wilson too but since the cheaper Checkmates and Metalforms have done so well for me I haven't bothered yet.

Wilson ETM or the new CHip mccormick XP mags. They are the best 9mm mags on the market today IMO. I have tried about all of them.

Metalform mags or the new Wilson ETM mags with metal follower. These run 100% in all of my 9mm 1911's (including two SA's). I've had a few minor issues regarding CMC and Tripp 9mm mags.

My RO Champion will not lock open when using the Wilson ETM magazines but it works fine with the factory mags. I am trying Mec Gar mags next.

In for the knowledge, all I have used so far in my Champion are the factories.

My Tripps have run fine but I have only put about 500 rounds though my RO Champion.
