[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Range Officer origin

I am interested in a Range Officer, are they manufactured in the USA or South America?

ALL Springfield 1911's come from Imbel. All models with a NM prefix on the serial number are shipped to America and fitted here. All Range Officers are fitted in America, but the forgings are still from Imbel. My RO will be here tomorrow.

I will definitely post a Range Report on it. With any luck my FFL will get it in early enough to shoot tomorrow, if not then I will take it out Wednesday.
