I guess it's the Centerfire prices maybe but there have been a lot of RIA 1911 threads recently (myself included). Do a search for it in the handgun discussion forum and you'll find at least 10 threads with good information. The consensus seems to be they are great guns for the price, they always "go bang when I shoot it," and they have a very positive reputation among all online gun communities. For your dollar, you will get considerable value. Whether you should get one or not depends on your budget and what you're looking for in a gun. | See above for the threads I had mentioned. Also, for what it's worth, after reading the threads here, at THR and m1911.org, I decided to buy one and I should have it by the end of the week. By the end of next week I'll probably put up some pics. I already have the Hogue grips waiting for it. (M1911.org has a forum dedicated just to RIA) |
