Okie-dokie.
So after a long hiatus, I was able to get to the range. I wanted to do some function checks on my Ruger 22/45 since getting it back from being threaded at ADCO and I wanted to shoot my S&W 41 for the first time. So I start with the 22/45. It was running a little sluggish at first, but settled in nicely. Feels great in the hand, nice trigger, I had a couple FTEs, but overall pretty freakin sweet! 
Then I shot the 41. Loaded up the mags with Wolf MT. Holy shit. No, I mean really....HOLY SHIT. Trigger is as sweet as my custom 1911s, action is smooth as greased baby shit on glass. The thing was dead-nuts accurate too and I wasn't even really trying. Only problem is, after shooting the 41 the Ruger went from being to  . I only have on e complaint about the pistol and that is OMG the mags are a bitch to load. Unfortunately, my Ultimate Clip Loader doesn't work with 41 mags.
As a PSA to all shooters....if you haven't thought about getting a S&W 41, DO EEEEEEET. |
