[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Reloading

I was wondering if any of you guys reload. If you do what do you recommend for powder for a .40 S&W. Right Now I'm using 5 gr of Alliant Unique with a 175gr Lead Cast SWC. It is a good round but it is a very dirty round and I've loaded 4 LBS worth of it and I'm ready to try something new.

I've been using 5.6gr of Universal w/ a 155gr for a few thousand rounds and like it.

I have been reloading .40 since the mid 90's Here are a few of my loads that worked well for me.

6.1g Universal clays 155 FMJ.
5.0g Bullseye 155 FMJ
6.3g Unique 155 FMJ

My current load
5.0g W231 165 FMJ
