Is there a trick to remembering the Glock model numbers?
17, 19, 26, 30, etc. Is there a trick to remember what size and caliber.
Whenever, someone says my g17 or g26, I find I have to look them up to see they are talking about a subcompact 9mm, etc.
Thanks!

Just experience and time fondling the Glock works of art.

It's easy to remember, the only ones I don't know off the top of my head are the .357 models

They're numbered in order of release.

G17 came first, then the G18, then the G19, and on and on.

IIRC the G16 was a curtain rod or somesuch.  'Till it went BOOM!!

I hung out at Glocktalk entirely too much, so I have known them for awhile.

Haha, same here.

You'll get the hang if it eventually if you stick around gun boards enough.

I guess I'm getting old, I recall when the only model was the 17 Gen. 1.

According to the book, the 17 was named so because it was Gaston's 17th patent.

Yup, I don't have a .357 either but since those are in order I can remember them easier.  I still have to look up some of the 10mm and .45 Glock models.
