Back in the '60s my father took care of some barn cats that were tearing up our trash with some rubber bullets. They were just rubber cylinders that pushed into the case my finger pressure. They were propelled by just a primer- no powder. He used them in his Ruger SBH .44mag revolver. They had just enough energy to seriously discourage a cat at driveway distance without injuring the animal. He would open the garage door and leave the light off. When the cat showed up to push the metal trash can over he would shoot them in the ass. These were not little puddy cats. These were large barn cats, and the would push over a full metal trash can with a cement block holding the lid on. |
